WHAT'S NEW:
New Look to ERIS Website
EcoLog ERIS has recently redesigned the entire website and on October 11th
launched a new format. Keeping the user in mind the new design allows
enhanced navigation through the various information pages. ERIS is
continuing to be the ultimate one stop shop resource for environmental
professionals in need of historical information related to property and
feedback on the functionality of the new site is always welcome. Do not
hesitate to contact any member of the ERIS team with your comments.
Data Updates
Continuing with the improvements to the ERIS service, numerous databases
have been updated including a national update on the National PCB Inventory,
Retail Fuel Storage Tanks, Chemical Register, and Auto Wrecking Sites
databases. Provincial database updates have occurred in the form of PCB’s
for Newfoundland, and Hazardous Substance Storage Sites and Tanks for
Saskatchewan. ERIS is continuously adding to the inventory of data with a
total count of 434 databases comprising of approximately 3.2 million records
available for the database searches.
ERIS Services
ERIS Service currently provides the major sources of Historical Information
that is listed in the Historical Records review section of the CSA
Phase 1 Standard. If there are items outside of the database coverage,
City Directory Search, Title Search, Fire Insurance Maps, Inspection
Reports, Site Plans, Aerials and Topographic maps that would assist in the
